A confusing statistic…

Not much of a statistics watcher, but, when I do click-through to see what you are all up to, I’m always left a little confused.

You see, the most visited post isn’t one I ever thought would garner as many hits as it has. In fact, it has been viewed between 3 and 5 times every single day since it was posted… Did I mention: that leaves me a little bit confused.

Most telling, however, is that the visits to it are generally unique, with very few additional post views generated by the initial chance hit (thanks to the sterling efforts of google). Indeed, so specific is the search term, that I’m almost tempted to include it in every single post…

Of course, it does leave me wondering who all these people are, and what experience has caused them to search out information on something quite so specific. Then again, maybe it’s just telling me that I need to spend more time, getting to know the deeper meaning of an early ally, in order to better understand what is important to the wider world, or how the world is affecting people in such a way that drives them to that post.

The second most visited? Well, that just tells me there are a whole load of people out there with roofing problems… 😉
