The muses are lying on a beach somewhere…

Hey! Not funny!

In the name of the wee man…

You’d think, having been away so long, all the pent-up posts would come flooding out.

It’s not like I haven’t been writing, either. For the last three weeks I’ve been sitting around in pyjamas from 9 till 5, preparing a whole library of technical documents, ISO manuals, and job procedures…

Not only that, but there are about two dozen part written posts in the draft folder, eagerly awaiting the final tweaks, twots, and whatever else might be necessary to make them publish-worthy…

Not to mention the “next post” which has been mulled, percolated, and brewed to within an inch of its life, yet resolutely refuses to grow beyond that first sentence.

“It’s never happened to me before”. Ha!

Guaranteed cure.

Maybe now the technical library is overflowing with tomes that nobody will ever read anyway, things might start to move in the right direction here. In the meantime, I’ve ordered a “guaranteed” cure.

Amazon deliver on Friday.

Three crates of vodka…

About A Misanthropic Bear

Intermittent posting of random touchstones, memories and events. This wasn't meant to be what it would become... But then, is it ever?

  3. Forget the Vodka… get some CBD oil, like from CBDPlus. CBD is legal in all 50 states and it is anti-depressant; alcohol is a depressant. CBD is very healthy for the body and is also great for pain and arthritis (like in elderly people like my wife and i.) 🙂

Hehe. Fear not! Haven’t touched the stuff since an unfortunate orange and polystyrene incident in my teens… 😉
Quite intrigued by the CBD oil, though. Knees! Family tradition. I’ll certainly look into whether we can get it here. Thanks, Tom, for the tip! 🙂

Hahaha I can absolutely relate!! I have so many posts rolling around in my head, and many begun yet remain unfinished!! It isn’t so much about writer’s block for me and more like some kind of procrastination thang!! Which is different. So I am Listening carefully so I may understand my reluctance perchance.
PS: give me a hollar when the vodka arrives!! Maybe we could work through this together!! Haha
As Always Spirit speaks even when we forget to Listen!!
    You’ve Got this!!

While the vodka may help, you may want to publish a disclaimer in advance 😉 xx

      About a month, now… lol

It really hasn’t happened before. I know I’m sparse, but usually once the decision to write a post has been made, there may be a little wrestling, and some gentle coaxing may be required, but usually get at least a draft out of it!
      Nothing. NOTHING!!!
Doesn’t help that 50% of google results for “how to get over writer’s block” indicate “it doesn’t exist”… 😮
